What ever happened to Al Freeman Jr? He was on a Soap (All My Children or One Life to Live) as a detective in the early 70's. I always liked him and thought he was a good actor. Is there any relationship to Morgan Freeman?

Save an occassional gust spot on television, the last time I saw Al Freeman Jr. was when he played Elijah Mohammad in MALCOM X with Denzel Washington. Freeman was mesmerizing in this role.

yeah me and my friend sharon were passing through Port Bolivar, Texas were the movie was filmed.and as we stopped by the lighthouse,i told her "this is where they filmed a movie" and she said "yeah with umm Patty Duke?" and she told me this story about a woman she knows that knows al freeman junior and he lives in California??

I doubt there's any relation to Morgan. "Freeman" is a fake last name that freed slaves would adopt.
