In amongst all the 'This film is disgusting' 'Why I hate Robert Altman' comments here are some little bits of information.

Sally Kellerman had already played Dr Dehner in Star Trek

Tom Skerritt went on to pay Dallas in Alien

But most interesting of all Rene Aberjonois shape changed from Father John Mulcahy to Odo for Star Trek DS9.

As for the movie - I love it (I'd better get into my bunker before all the abuse starts)

Also John Schuck was the Klingon Ambassador in Star Trek IV & VI, and was on Enterprise too.

Yes you're right - he actually looks pretty alien too. There's also a sergeant called Gorman - perhaps the great great great great Grandfather of the rather unsuccessful soldier in Aliens
