Trivia item: First R-rated film to use the word '*beep*'
This is an interesting fact. The film "Kes" used the word *beep* one year earlier, and that was classified as a U originally (now PG).
The "Kes" line probably got past the censors because it was said in a scene with a heated argument and is not particularly clear. In addition, they made a dubbed version of the film that replaced it with "bloody".
