I know it's a terrible thought but if you were going to do a remake.....from the current crop of actors who would you pick to fill the lead roles?
Guys with the charisma of Eastwood, Savalas and Sutherland?
Do they exist any more?

My answer?

Nope they don't exist anymore and a remake would be horrible. Films of this type just can't be done properly these days.

Excellent point. When I saw Three Kings, the first thing I thought was Kelly's Heroes.

I have to agree. There is no way to put together even half of a cast of the calibur of this one.

Haha I'll join in on the fun. Well Eastwood and Sutherland is pretty much irreplaceable. But here we go anyway.

Actually that cast is not half bad. But I still would not want to see a remake.

Can't have Dwayne Johnson in a remake, because he would've been serving in a segregated unit. If you want to make it an all-black outfit (white officers only, of course)then Johnson could be doable.
