Music

I would give this movie 10 stars if it wasn't for the music --- That crap opening song "Burning Bridges" sounds like someone is going to run across the screen with flowers in their hair --- SUKKKED !!! This is supposed to be about World War II --- what kind of Hippy pile of junk thought it would be good to have the Crappo music --- Curb really does suck ---

Hank Jr was ok but still WRONG for the era it's supposed to be ---

Really? I like 'Burning Bridges,' but didn't care for 'All for the Love of Sunshine;' and I normally love old country music and hate hippie music..

To each his own.

You seem to be missing the point. KH's was a dark comedy. It wasn't supposed to reflect the conventional Hollywood interpretation of WWII. Did you watch it through?

It is a comedy though.

I think the point of having the Burning Bridges song is that once Kelly and the guys set off on their mission they were in fact burning their bridges behind them. They got the gold and went to Switzerland. And I think the sweet country music song playing while they cut up the Germans in the railyard was appropriate. I think it showed how casual we can view slaughter.
