What are the best Rolling Stones songs?

I'm going per album! And I'm only doing up to Tattoo You, because everything after that was kind of, well...you know.

England's Newest Hit-Makers: Not Fade Away
12 x 5: Around and Around
Now!: Little Red Rooster
Out of Our Heads: (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
December's Children (And Everybody's): Get Off of My Cloud
Aftermath: Paint it Black
Between the Buttons: Let's Spend the Night Together
Flowers: Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadows?
Their Satanic Majesties Request: She's a Rainbow
Beggar's Banquet: Sympathy for the Devil
Let it Bleed: Gimme Shelter
Sticky Fingers: Brown Sugar
Exile on Main Street: Shine a Light
Jamming With Edward: Every song on that is awful.
Goat's Head Soup: Angie
It's Only Rock n' Roll: It's Only Rock n' Roll (But I Like It)
Black and Blue: Fool to Cry
Some Girls: Miss You
Emotional Rescue: She's So Cold
Tattoo You: Waiting On a Friend

*** Exile: All Down The Line ***

The peak of "Exile" IMHO, and perhaps the most under-rated song by the Stones period.

My list is a little skewed because I'm sick of hearing the 'classics' all the time, JJF, Brown Sugar, etc. Here's a dozen in no peculiar order

Rocks Off
Stray Cat Blues
I'm Allright
Before They Make Me Run
She Was Hot
Salt of the Earth
When the Whip Comes Down
Sway
Too Tough
One Hit to the Body
Shine A Light
She Said Yeah

Love's turned to lust and blood's turned to dust in my heart.

I hear you--most of the usual radio suspects have lost their charm for me a long time ago. Also, I lost serious interest in the band by Some Girls although "Undercover of the Night" seemed fresh enough at the time that I was prompted to buy Undercover although that turned out to be the usual recycled Chuck Berry too.

My Stones faves in no particular order except perhaps chronologically (although I like "peculiar order" too):

"Get off of My Cloud"
"It's All over Now"
"Little by Little"
"Play with Fire"
"The Last Time"
"19th Nervous Breakdown"
"Mother's Little Helper"
"Bye Bye Johnny"
"Jumpin' Jack Flash" (even after the 10,000th time . . . )
"Memo from Turner"
"No Expectations"
"Stray Cat Blues"
"Sympathy for the Devil" (overexposed, but still a revelation)
"Midnight Rambler"
"Carol," "Little Queenie," "Sympathy for the Devil" (all from Ya-Ya's)
"Can't You Hear Me Knocking"
"You Got to Move"
"Rocks Off"
"Rip This Joint"
"It's Only Rock 'n' Roll" (another chestnut but the sentiment is evergreen)
"Undercover of the Night"

Now!: Heart Of Stone
Out Of Our Heads: (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
December's Children (And Everybody's): Get Off of My Cloud
Aftermath: Paint It, Black
Between The Buttons: Connection
Their Satanic Majesties Request: 2000 Light Years From Home
Beggar's Banquet: Jigsaw Puzzle
Let It Bleed: Monkey Man
Sticky Fingers: Sway
Exile On Main St.: Rocks Off
Goat's Head Soup: Star Star
It's Only Rock N' Roll: Dance Little Sister
Black And Blue: Hand Of Fate
Some Girls: Far Away Eyes
Emotional Rescue: She's So Cold
Tattoo You: Start Me Up
Undercover: Wanna Hold You
Dirty Work: One Hit (To The Body)
Steel Wheels: Slipping Away
Voodoo Lounge: Blinded By Rainbows
Bridges To Babylon: Too Tight
A Bigger Bang: Rain Fall Down

Non-Album Track: Jumpin' Jack Flash

Flowers is a compilation album by the way, not one of their studio albums. Some of those songs listed I don't listen to as much as others on the album. When it comes to Out Of Our Heads and Tattoo You I usually listen to more songs like Mercy Mercy and Hang Fire respectively, but there's no arguing with those massive hits like Satisfaction and Start Me Up. I'm tired of some of the warhorses, but they're huge for a reason.

Start Me Up
Beast of Burden

Gimme Shelter
Get Off of My Cloud

OK, so this wasn't really a question.

Perhaps the OP just wants to reach out for some sense of community.

Haven't seen many mentions of "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" from Sticky Fingers. There's just something about the riff in that song. Messy, dangerous-sounding, grungy.... pretty sure I've heard somebody refer to it as "slutty", and that's accurate too. To me that song, plus "Gimme Shelter", represent the Stones at their best.
