I heard that Anchor Bay DVDs develope dry rot and no longer work. Anyone heard of this? Anyone's Anchor Bay discs go bad on them? I wonder from which company I should buy this DVD from? And Suspiria...

No idea where that rumor came from... mine still work.

Yeah I think that rumour is complete dribble. Mine are as good as the day I got them. Don't be put off.

I have the Suspiria 3-disc Limited Edition set released back around 2000 or so and I've put that disc through some hell by setting it on hard surfaces with no case and getting it wet a few times. Miraculously it still plays fine. So it's most likely a rumor.
