There's nothing original about the car chase or the "gag" of an old couple trying to cross a street. It is in many ways identical to the chase in "To Catch A Thief" and there is a much older black and white film that used the same "gag." This is by far one of the worst pieces of film making I've seen in a long time. Not to say anything of the plot or story itself, there are too many "happy coincidences." The murderer just so happens to always be in the right place at the right time to prevent the transfer of information which would expose who he is. Bianca: "Oh, I can't tell you know and I cannot go to the police. I'll come over even though there's a madman on the loose, I know who he is, he killed my fiance , and he may even kill me." C'mon. This film is a farce. At times I wondered whether this was supposed to be a parody of a thriller. I wanted to turn it off by the midpoint but -- against all odds -- I pressed on. Perhaps I just wanted to see more of Cate Spaak, regardless of how pitiful her performance was.
