I'm starting a e-mail campaign for everyone to send a request to The Criterion Collection to release this on dvd.

This is an EXCELLENT idea!!! I'm on board. I saw this movie when it first came out in 1970 and used to own it on VHS. Should've already been on DVD a long time ago!

There's been rumors of a Frank Perry Eclipse box set for awhile. I don't know the current status of that. I assume it'd be rather difficult to obtain the rights since they all came from different studios. If it doesn't pan out, they should at least put out Diary of a Mad Housewife on Blu-ray. That film is criminally underrated.

How are you contacting Criterion? So we can all apply to the same contact. It's incomprehensible that "Diary..." is not on DVD. And I can't understand why it is NEVER on cable. But then, I have a long list of movies (including some made-for-TV gems) that are just never aired or released on disc.

With all the crap now availble on DVD and BluRay, I agree it's a sin that "Diary of a Mad Housewife" is still kept in the netherzone.

I know what you mean about for what it's worth, they just released their lists for up-coming movies coming out under the Criterion label and it's still not mentioned.
