The editing work if just superb. The humor is just perfectly dead pan. When the husband is screaming out for Tina I just almost wet myself.

The segues were interesting. Dialogue often overlapped into the next scene.
When Tina says to her husband, "There is truth in what you say": That's when I almost wet!
Yes, I agree! The editing was very different and fit the film very well. I kept thinking that throughout the whole movie.
I think it's interesting to note, that Frank Perry directed this and Mommie Dearest; DOAMH had wonderful editing and Mommie Dearest is literally the movie with the worst editing I've ever seen. Hah.
