I think it's the best thing about this movie - it outshines and exceeds the film itself, standing on its own as enjoyable "Western movie music". I wish a CD were available - as far as I know, it was never made into an album bacl then, in vinyl, or more recently in CD format. The music has several lovely-thrilling cues and in its own way is as rich as Jerome Morross' score for the Big Country. Dominic (the original Outer Limits, The Invaders, Twelve O'Clock High, Stunt Man) Frontiere at his very best.

I agree, if they released this on CD or Digitally, I would definitely get this.

You can find extended versions of the main title and Chisum suite on Youtube.

Find one you like and there are several programs that will let you convert the Youtube video to MP3 format. Then simply burn the extended version onto a CD from your computer.

It's not the same a real soundtrack which i agree, ought to be available but isnt. But it might be the best you can do at the present time.
