The red rose (and the Corey-Vogel relationship)

In the night club, a girl gives Corey a red rose. Then he speaks with the jewel businessman (who is a traitor, of course).

Later when he is at home and says goodbye to Vogel before he's going to meet with Mattei, the rose is by Vogel. He took it home and gave it to him? Hm... interesting, very interesting. Why? Bringing someone a red rose is a strong symbol...

It probably has to do with the same red circle motif, as the red roses show up when two characters meets. Even though it's a rose instead of a circle, the red loosely connects it.

Yes :)

But a red rose means an offer too, doesn't it? :)
And we know Delon's interests. He loves both men and women. Perhaps the character does it too?

Like the red circle, it symbolizes their interdependence, BUT yeah, it's a rose, so I think it also shows their affection and friendship.
