Jacqueline Bisset: The World's Sexiest 'Stewardess'

Yes, yes, yes. Jacqueline Bisset wins MY Johnnie Rotten award for the all-time sexiest 'stewardess' ever to appear on film. Gwen Meighen, who lived on 'Stewardess Row' near Lincoln International, exuded elegance, sex appeal without being vulgar, and charm. Add a cool 1970 hair-do, a melt-in-your-mouth clipped British accent, slim yet gorgeous figure and a complimenting 'stew' uniform of gold and grey, and you got yerself one 'first class' dame of the Trans-Global skies.

This woman could melt any guys heart with the words, "Sir, would you care for dinner? If so, would you please put your tray table down?"

Grrrrrrrroooooooowwwwl!!!!!!

I believe I read that Bisset didn't much like her wig. I beg to differ with her.

Jackie looks good in anything!

I laugh at the scene when Dean Martin leaves the airport to go meet up with Bisset and we have the traditional 70's split screen that gives us a window into his thoughts of Bisset toweling off after a shower. Almost pulled rudely from my corny imagination, a little bass solo that reminds me of a classic porno soundtrack begins and I find that HUMOROUS!!

Oh, well, different strokes. My mom always referred to Ali McGraw was "milchedik" looking (for those non-lantzmen, that means, basically, "whitebread").

Bisset unvoluptuous? As someone who went through adolescence in the '70s, I strongly disagree. Ever see "The Grasshopper?"

IMHO, Jackie Bisset was stunning.

In the '80s, I used to see her in L.A. with her then companion, the late Alexander Godunov, quite often at the theater or at premieres; I sometimes also saw them at the Beverly Center when I worked there.

What always cracked my friends and me up is that she would be wearing a wig and, sometimes, sunglasses, as if she didn't want to be recognized, and yet she would be with Godunov, who, with his long blonde hair and striking looks, you couldn't miss a mile away.

I actually had a mad crush on Jacqueline Bisset after seeing this film and I'm gay! She was totally hot in this film. She still is...and that voice and accent drive me crazy.

Jacqueline gave the role of Gwen Meighen so much depth and class. She was any-
thing but just "eye candy" (although she looked "smashin," as our British
friends say). I will never forget her scene with Dean Martin alone on the air-
plane, discussing her feeling about pregnancy, motherhood, and childbirth. Also,
she was a female film heroine way ahead of her time. Who bravely rushed forward to
try and stop D. O. Guerrero (actor van Heflin)? Gwen, that's who. None of the
men made a move, and Gwen was badly injured and could have died. If I ever
meet Ms. Bisset, I would like to discuss this role with her, among others.
I would ask her if that was a stunt double hanging on the door, blowing in the wind.

She was amazing in this role. Stunning.

..."The Deep"...best wet t-shirt ever.

Just 2 swords? Like in ... ULTIMATE BABE ? Oh yeah!!!! Jackie Bisset is the ultimate babe, the woman that would give life to a T-shirt the minute she starts wearing it.... Her short but effective contributions to "Bullitt" are really quite memorable (she was truly at the very peak of her beauty and sexiness then, as in Airport). In "The Deep", we indeed get to watch an in-depth performance of Jacqueline, certainly one of the absolutely most sensuous and voluptuous ones (in the true meaning of that term). She truly gives relief to the story and makes underwater scenes (which are most often than not dull and boring in movies) truly breast-taking and palpitating. I never envied so much a moray eel despite their somewhat unsettling sets of teeth... And Nick Nolte was a lucky b*****d back then. Well, I guess he HAD to look good to make Mrs. Bisset willing to wear her very special aquatic T-shirts in his presence. One never knows what might happen off camera in those underwater caves during coffee breaks if your oxygen tank was still full enough for 10-15 min... And a T-shirt is much more convenient than a wet suit on some occasions, if you get my drift...

Yep, Jacqueline Bisset has always been a super babe, and I always look forward to her movies. She is one of these women who barely aged in the surface and is still one of the most attractive actresses ever, all countries confounded. For more Bisset sexy performances, check especially her infamous "Secrets" (1971, thus immediately following Airport)(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddZ84ZvLUJg). After watching this, nobody will ask oneself who is the most beautiful woman in the kingdom :-) She simply oozes sex inward, outward or any which ward you want :-)
