"Nice goin', sweetheart."
I first saw this film when I was in fifth grade. That line Petroni delivers as he taps the 707's underside with his box of cigars stuck with me. To this day, I talk to just about any mechanical or electronic device I'm using. For example: I am somewhat disabled, so I use one of those electric riding carts the store has when grocery shopping. I always softly ask it if it's charged and ready to go. Then, when I'm done, I thank it for its service. Am I uniquely daffy or does anyone else do things like this?
Be cautious if you see a light at the end of the tunnel. It could be an oncoming train.
