OK, from this web page, we now know Shirley Partridge's maiden name. But my question is this: Did they ever mention what she was doing before they formed the family band? Had she had a background in show business? What happened to Mr.Partridge? Maybe she had starred in The Music Man on Broadway?

Re-read what the op said...nothing in the post suggests Partridge is her maiden name. It's obviously her married name. They were stating they learned what her maiden name was.
shareHer maiden name was Renfrew. We learn that from episodes where her parents visit. Before joining the band, she was a bank teller. I wish we'd learned more about the dad but man, that did NOT happen in television at that time.
