Hello Old Tucson!
If you've spent any time west of Tucson, thru Gates Pass, you'll recognize Old Tucson. A very famous movie location, built for the movie "Arizona" (1940) starring Gene Arthur and William Holden. The set continued in use and by the late 60's was very busy. High Chaparral TV series was shot there along with John Wayne's "Rio Bravo ", and Clint Eastwood's "Joe Kidd". Man! Nothing looks like so. Arizona...those Saguaro cactus, the ones with the arms; takes 300 years to grow like that. This is one good looking movie. Burt Kennedy, Director, he wrote the Ranown films for Randolph Scott; love Westers?? Watch "Tall T", "Ride Lonesome" "Comance Station" Randolph, they'll knock you out!! I Love Westerns....
