i watched this for the first time the other day as i bought the clint eastwood 35 years/35 films dvd boxset and i didnt see any eagles in this film lol

other than that bloody good film

i was expecting it to be rubbish, being a war film as i am not big on them but it was suprisingly good

lol. Yeah. People who don't like movies from the 60's or war movies seem to enjoy this a lot.

No eagles are visible but the reason why the film is called 'Where Eagles Dare' is mentioned in the film. The location on the mountain can only be reached by an eagle other than the cable car.
