The flight scenes & the scenery during the opening credits are awesome and the engines sound authentic. Anyone know what kind of aircraft this was? I remember one just like it that was parked at a small airport back in the early 1980s.

The Junkers Ju 52 used in the film was still in use with the Swiss air force at the time. The Swiss also supplied the T-6 Texan trainers posing as "German" fighters."

Apparently they were heading to Switzerland after they were picked up since England was far out of the 52's range.
