I checked on Imdb and there's nothing about the RAF pilot?
He looks like Bill Maynard?

shareNo problem. I knew it wasn't Bill Maynard but I remember the guy from British TV. Didn't realise Ball was Australian. Of course some classic "British" character actors weren't British- Allan Cuthbertson, who played many a stuffy British officer type was Australian too, and Nigel Green- Colour Sgt Major Bourne in Zulu- was South African.
