I wonder what Clint had to say-----
About working with Burton
and ViceVersa
You don't have to stand tall, but you do have to stand up!

As it says in the trivia, Clint called this film 'Where Doubles Dare'. Referring to Burton not doing his own stunts while Clint did. But, like you, I would be interested to know more.
shareThe American expatriate director Joseph Losey was friendly with Burton and Elizabeth Taylor and referred to this film as "Where Eagles Sh*t" 😃
"Chicken soup - with a *beep* straw."
Although it was a long, arduous shoot - all the fuss Eastwood hates - he and Burton got on swimmingly. "Richard was quite a character," he laughs fondly, "and of course he was with Miss Taylor at the time, they were sort of the couple. I was the young guy who didn't have to worry too much.
---from his Empire interview of 2009.
If Eastwood disliked working with Eastwood then we would have known about it now.
It's that man again!!
Wow, YES !! I knew I knew him from somewhere but could never placer him.
50s/60s American actor Jeff Chandler always reminded me of one of the characters (Colonel Steve Zodiac) on the the early 60s 'Fireball XL5' Saturday morning cartoon/TV show. I could never watch one of his dramas and take him seriously because of that image I had running through my head.
I have the TV on right now and theres Chandler in 1956 'Away All Boats' - I can't stop chuckling !!
