What on earth happened to the DVD?

I know Anchor Bay released it way back then, and then MGM released it a few years later, but I just checked Amazon and they want $45 for new copies of it. Insanity! I just checked the inventory of a local used DVD shop and it looks like they have one available for ten bucks, so I'm dropping by there today. It's been years since I've seen this film and I wanted to watch it again, but it seems it's impossible to find. It's strange because MGM titles typically don't go out of print or become so difficult to find— that's Anchor Bay's territory.

I have like a first copy VHS of this movie. Yeah, this movie is expensive. I thought about a DVD but it was like 35 dollars.

It is a very difficult to find this movie, even at a decent price. A few years ago I tried to get the UK DVD and it was out of print, so I managed to get the US MGM DVD brand new before it went out of print and paid only 14.99 in pounds for it. Whatever format you get it in, you will be lucky, it's a great movie and very underrated.
