Just bought a double feature, 2-DVD set at Wal-Mart featuring "The Undefeated" and "North to Alaska."
And get this: all for the low, low price of $9.44 + tax!
I had previously seen snippets of both of these flicks on AMC, but am looking forward to watching both in wide-screen format.
I just bought this set, and it was a great deal. I just watched "the Undefeated", and hope to watch "North to Alaska" soon. This was a steal for the price!

I also got this set at Wal-Mart and watched them. They have many different John Wayne sets for cheap, I got most of them so far.
I really cleaned up on John Wayne DVDs at Wal-Mart in the last couple of weeks, since they've been featured as Father's Day gifts. In addition to the aforementioned THE UNDEFEATED/NORTH TO ALASKA, there are several other good double-features including SONS OF KATIE ELDER/THE SHOOTIST, IN HARM'S WAY/DONOVAN'S REEF, EL DORADO/HATARI, RED RIVER/THE HORSE SOLDIERS. I've also recently gotten TRUE GRIT, HONDO, BIG JAKE, THE COWBOYS, THE ALAMO, THE COMANCHEROS, THE LONGEST DAY, and RIO BRAVO for five to ten bucks apiece. And the special edition of THE BIG TRAIL, for about fifteen bucks, was a real find.
