It was not 'crap'

Rock Hudson may have called "The Undefeated" crap and the critics were certainly not kind to this Western now showing on Encore Westerns.But I found it vastly entertaining and fast moving with beautifully filmed outdoor photography. The cast was not bad either.Hudson said the box office success was because of "True Grit". It was a hit with audiences because it entertained in 1969 and does so today!

For some reason things that are popular are often labelled as "crap", and those that are not popular get feted by the critics (both professional & amateur).

Life is funny like that.
