Two Mules over Hang 'Em High

Just watched the two of these over the last week and I was wondering if anyone thinks Hang 'Em High is better than Two Mules. Two mules had much more suspense and the love interest was built better. I was more interested in Two Mules. Why do they have the same score of 6.9? I'd give Two Mules a whole star rating better than Hang Em.

Like comparing an SUV to a minivan - both are automobiles, but that's about it.

Two Mules is more comedic in tone and as such, far less serious.

Hang 'em High is very much a "message" western, illustrating the desire of "the law" to instill confidence in the populace at large, at any cost, in order to "keep the peace"...and ensure reelection for those who mete out "justice".
