The weird lady
In the beginning, the trio following the other trio -the Kusunov family, has a strange-looking lady--all in black, sometimes looks Slavic, sometimes like an Italian widow--she actually looks like she enjoys browsing in Den Permenente.
Topaz has other trios--when Tamara looks back to see if any one is following, we see three kids. Another trio, or triangle, is Rico, Juanita and Andre.
