One of the best of the Hammer Dracula franchise.
I finally finished Hammer's Dracula offerings and I have to say I thought this one was actually one of the best of the lot.
It has everything you'd want and expect from a Hammer Dracula movie.
If I have to rank them as of now I'd maybe go for something like so;
1. Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970)
2. Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968)
3. Dracula (1958)
4. Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966)
5. Scars of Dracula (1970)
6. The Brides of Dracula (1960)
7. Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972)
8. The Satanic Rites of Dracula (1973)
9. The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires (1974)
The 1958 original is admittedly brilliant however Bram Stoker's tale has been adapted so many times now it's ridiculous, the story feels a bit too plain and played out these days and thus I actually prefer some of the more original tales involving the Count.
