I'm the Bravest Individual

Is this song NOT in the film?!

Some places are like people, some shine and some don't.

reply

Correct, it is not.

I've been married to one Marxist and one Fascist, and neither one would take the garbage out.

Was there another song that played in it's place? For that scene?

reply

The new song "It's a Nice Face" was used in that scene but not in exactly the same moment, as it is a solo for Charity while she observes Oscar after he has fainted and is briefly unconscious.

Now I remember it. Thanks!

I hate "It's a Nice Face"...hands down, the film's weakest moment...brings the film to a dead halt.

It wouldn't make sense in the movie, as they cut the Coney Island stage scene when Charity and Oscar get stuck up high on the parachute ride. In this stage scene, it turns out that Charity is afraid of heights. It give Oscar the chance to comfort her and redeem himself following the elevator incident. Finally, he can be the brave and dependable one....at least for a while.
