A revival of this musical was recently done on Broadway with Christina Applegate. Revivals of this show have always been successful and I wass wondering how people feel about a remake. Who would you like to see play Charity, Oscar, Vittoria, Big Daddy, Nickie , and Helene?

I think Jake Gyllenhaal would make a wonderful Oscar. And I love the idea of Tichina Arnold as Helene...how about Jennifer Lopez as Nickie?

Charity: Beyonce Knowles
I would never cast Beyonce as Charity...Charity Hope Valentine is one of the few roles in musical theater that requires a legitimiate "triple threat" performer...the actress playing the role has to be able to sing and dance and act, and unfortunately, Beyonce can only do two out of the three. Anyone who has seen DREAMGIRLS or OBSESSED, or AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER will attest to the fact that Beyonce cannot act.
I love Broderick as Oscar, Jamie Foxx as Big Daddy and Alexander as Herman.
