Madam Orr's House

Is it just me or did they deliberately name the local house of whoopie after the head of Warner Brothers Television (William T. Orr) when James Garner was doing Maverick in the early 1960's? I read somewhere that the two of them did not get along and that was the reason why Mr. Garner did not want to work in television for a while.

I always assumed it was just to sound like whore house. This was supported in my mind later on, when Jake told Jason that he sometimes "held the whores at Madam Horse's."
