confused when she was sitting in the rain

I mean i know she didn't wanna bother him while he was studying, but that seemed really cuckoo and sorta mean of him to allow her to sit in the damn RAIN! or am i missing something here? lol

He didn't MAKE her sit out in the rain; her sitting in the rain underscores her skewed behavior.

Yeah, but he lets her do it. He's more "sterile" than she is, in my opinion.

Liza Minnelli's character was troubled but I think some of her behaviour was for his attention

She chose to do it. Maybe she was trying to make him feel guilty for not rescuing her from her own choices.

Jerry should have closed the blinds or the curtain or blocked the view indoors somehow, to let her know that he wouldn't tolerate that sort of behavior. She had a need for affection and companionship, but she should have met him halfway by respecting his need to study.
