Sole Survivor-also a fan

I'm a bit hesitant to post here since it appears that many posts are under suspicion, but count me as another who remembers this movie for some reason. I've gotten it confused with "Flight of the Phoenix" in the past (and it sounds like maybe I'm not the only one, after looking at the Classic Films board). Not in terms of quality, but in general terms; you know, a plane, crash in the desert, etc. etc. Guess I could get "The English Patient" confused with it as well under those elements, LOL.

I asked about it on a list I'm on and a couple of people there remembered it with fondness as well, so there are at least a few of us!

Could be I'd find it hasn't held up over the years but it sure caught my imagination when it first aired, and that makes me think there's something about it.
