Check eBay, using "sole survivor" as your search term; then check the feedback for the seller to determine its quality -- sellers of homemade videos usually put new copies of rarities up for auction on a regular basis, so you'll be able to determine how good a copy it is from previous buyers.
The DVD copy I got was about $20, reasonably recorded from a TV broadcast, with a noticable hum in the background of the soundtrack. Ran fine on my computer, but the last half-hour kept skipping in the DVD/VHS player hooked to my television. I transfered the files from the ebay DVD onto my harddrive and burned a new disk, which plays well on my regular player.

I've found two websites offering DVDs and VHS tapes for SOLE SURVIVOR, as follows:

There is a substantial difference in the prices, but one is a compilation DVD produced from what the creator (http://www.montrealfood.com/dvds.html) claims were eight different "versions" of the made-for-TV movie. According to him, different broadcasts cut out different portions of the movie to make room for advertisements, so, in creating the compilation, he "cut-and-pasted" .. or, at least, the video editing equivalent of that .. missing parts together into one whole. If true, that ought to be one awesome DVD.

I managed to find a copy of this on DVD from someone on the net.
I think it's a copy of a video recording taken from the TV, but it's still a great movie.
