There are tv rips of this available on dvd. The quality tends to be a bit fuzzy, but tolerable.

I agree w/you it should be released on DVD.

I've never seen it, but I definitely want to see it. 

It is finally available on Blu-ray in the UK. It's looks beautiful but region locked B. So if your in the US you need an all region player and the movie is available on Amazon UK

Yes, it is an unforgettable movie. You can watch it in HD on YouTube.
