Just turned up on YouTube

Yep! It's a decent copy, too, so far.
"Fire bad. Tree pretty."
And it's in HD. I have WiFi in my house and my 42 inch HD flat-screen can pick it up and get access to YouTube. I just finished watching Sole Survivor - without commercials - and it is in HD.
It has been 45 years since I last saw it on TV, and I have to say it is every bit as powerful and tragic as I remember it. It holds up very very well. Despite Shatner's tendency to chew the scenery, it's one of the best made-for-TV movies I've ever seen. My eternal thanks to whomever put it on YouTube in that format.
Most of my friends who have inferiority complexes are absolutely right.
The film was originally filmed in fullscreen, so the version on YouTube has been manipulated. It also shows a running time of 91 minutes, so 9 minutes have been lost.
