The Uncompleted Construct

I just watched the film again and I have to admit I really have some admiration for the uncredited actress who plays the construct Dr Browning was completing at the end of the film.
I particularly admire her muscle control. When Dr Browning's assistant lifts her out of her storage bin and carries her over to the operating table, her legs remain absolutely rigid. One might think she was actually a mannequin, but her discretely moving toes tell otherwise.
I also like the subtle move the assistant makes to move her hands over her crotch. Otherwise we would have had a pretty clear crotch shot in an M-rated flick.
Not that the 13-year-old me watching the film in the theatre would have minded.....

Wait a minute: Are you saying that wasn't an actual composite they used? ;-)

You are right that she certainly looks like a mannequin when the assistant lifts her. It's odd that she doesn't move until she's on the table, and it's also odd that she moves then. Was she a gymnast, perhaps? To the assistant's credit, she shows good form in lifting her.

As for the crotch shot, we'll just have to assume that the composites were anatomically correct ...

i agree with both of you

I also wondered whether the breast shot (pretty daring for 1970) was permitted by the censor because the girl was immobile and not even meant to be human.
