Thought it was pretty good
Just watched it on TCM and realize just how awful it is
At all levels
The story seems truthful and X-Pros say it is but beyond that it is forgettable
Just saw it from TCM also and yeah it doesn’t hold up well.
I did like:
Some good music. Including when the marching band is out there pregame, although my goodness the baton twirler distracted me, what a gorgeous young woman!
Jessica Walters who’s always interesting and did the best she could with a clunky script.
That in reality my Cowboys won this game that year easily and it was fun to hear some of the names of the players.
The final shot which definitely looks as if they had permission to stop the real game for a pretty nice finish.
