Name of the Space Movie that plays while . . . .

. . . . Joe is in the movie theater with Bob Balaban?

B&W . . . looks 1950's-ish . . . plot revolves around a space shuttle EVA gone awry. Any guesses?

From the billboard that is partially visible behind Joe's head as he stands outside the movie theater fishing for trade, the title seems to be something like "____________ Voyage ___________ into Space".

Some dialogue in the film-within-the-film refers to a character named "Captain Grace". Other dialogue (we don't know if they're referring to a different character) says "Chuck! Chuck! I've lost you!"

I'm pretty sure that black and white space scene was shot FOR the movie. Listen closely and you'll hear one of the crew members is voice by Bernard Hughes who plays the old homosexual Towney later in the film.

There is no "off" position on the genius switch.

I actually think the space shot was from the movie "Marooned" released the same year 1969.
