help me identify another great Western with gold

I have a feeling that this might be a really famous movie, so, I guess it's pretty lame that I don't know the title. Be that as it may...

When I was a kid, I saw a movie with an ending that terrified me. It had a greedy guy who was after a bunch of gold. I think it might have been gold dust. I want to say that the gold dust was owned somehow by some Mexican indians, possibly Aztecs, but I am not certain.

What I do remember is the ending, where the greedy guy was trapped in some sort of confined room, which was built into the earth somehow... possibly built into the side of a mountain. Anyway, at or near the end of the movie, he was trapped in this room in an earthquake, and gold dust was falling all around him as he struggled to get out. I think there may have been people outisde the room, letting him get buried, refusing to intercede, because he was a really bad guy... he had probably killed someone earlier in the movie. Anyway, he ended up being buried alive in the gold dust, suffocating, and you could see his hand clutching out of the surface of the pile of dust, and then it stopped moving.

It really freaked me out when I was a kid, and turned me off watching westerns for life. But recently I have been thinking about getting better educated in these movies. I liked No Country for Old Men, etc...

Anyway, can anyone help me identify the movie I am wondering about?

You are toast, my toasty friend.

The name of the movie you are interested in is titled "Tarzan and the Valley of Gold" . It stars Mike Henry as Tarzan. It is available as a DVD and may be ordered from Amazon.com or Warner Archives. I own a copy and it is in letterbox format and a beautiful print.
