I'll just say that I probably saw "The Love Bug" about a zillion times as a kid, and I wanted to be character Jim Douglas when I grew up. Peace, Dean Jones, and thank you for very pleasant memories.

shareSame here. Probably saw Monte Carlo more than the Love Bug as a kid, wanted to be Jim Douglas saving Julie Sommars when she crashes in the lake. Re-watching the Love Bug as a sort of tribute. Wish I could have met him.
