Remake Cast
Just saw the film again- after over 20 years- on youtube, found it by accident. Will have to get the DVD. I've read the film will be remade, hopefully it'll keep the basic structure of the 1969 movie and of course more stories from the book but I'd like to see "The Veldt" and "The Long Rain"- both are made for 21st Century special effects. Also, I can imagine the CGI literally showing the Skin Illustrations coming alive on Carl's body. This movie demands a remake.
As for the cast, I'd like to see Russel Crowe as Carl; Ryan Kwanten from "True Blood" as Will and Jolene Blalock as Felicia.
