Who killed Jack Nicholson?

I had always believed that it was one of the guys from the diner.

I thought that might be it but wasn't sure? You wonder how he found them?

I always assumed that he had staked them out and followed them back to their camp, and then attacked late that night.

Yes, it was a few of the guys from the diner. At first glance, you can make out the yellow CAT cap of the 1 guy, and also the mostly bald head of the other bigger middle age guy. Maybe others too, but those 2 were the most obvious.
