So why Did Hopper fall out with Fonda?

One of the greatest feuds in movie history came from this. I heard two reasons, Hopper wanted a far longer film with many scenes with just the two of them riding. Plus they fell out over money (that old chestnut)... The feud lasted past Hooper's death, and Fonda was not allowed to attend Hopper's funeral.
