I can remember watching a film in TV with my Grandma in the early 80s. All I can remember is a bridge and a scene where a jeep full of women drives past the men's showers. Does anyone know if it's this film or what I might be dimly remembering?

Possibly 'Yanks' with Richard Gere. It was made in 1979.
