Was Johannes Steinhoff (German Ace of WWII) part of the movie...?? In 1:48:28 a Tom Evans is introduced to Maggy, he resembles too much to Johannes Steinhoff.

No, Tom Evans was played by Bill Foxley, a former RAF navigator who did suffer burns when his aircraft crashed. He died 4 years ago:
