How can they release absolute film junk on DVD, and not release this unbelievably beautiful movie?

shareI hate e-bay, people are selling full screen vhs for up to $80. I dvd recorded it from TCM in widescreen and it looks beautiful. Too bad I got banned from ebay or i'd sell copies of mine for super cheap just to make those vhs sellers look like dorks.

I'm pretty sure they must be bootlegged, since I've spent a hefty amount of time on the internet over the years browsing for a copy of this on DVD to no avail.

Yeah, I was thinking about taping it from TCM just now, but it was 4:50 AM (10 minutes before it came on) and I wasn't really alive...As is any teenager at 4:50..
Heck, with my lifestyle, any time before 11am doesn't exist : P lol

Ok I am so pissed off! This is just like how the UK's release of BBC Narnia...they get more special features...mainly a reunion of the cast that us Americans don't. *scowls* I'm with wrappeddinstars 100%.

This whole region thing is outrageous. It keeps us from such movies and shows like "My Hero" on DVD. If books do not have format, why should movies have them. Even if they do, they must guarantee an eventual release in all major formats. So much for living in a global society. I contacted Universal, they said that they have no plans but asked me to keep checking their website. Painful.
