Wooden sticks near the end of the movie
What were the wooden sticks near the end of the movie when Anne is locked in the Tower reminiscing about the days of her reign? Some sort of calendar or calculating device?

They were certainly convenient little hundred-day sticks, but I can't imagine what they would be used for. We've never measured time in hundred-day increments in western civ as far as I know. It all goes by solar months and religious calendars.
