Richard Burton's dancer

Who danced for Richard Burton during the Galliard? I'm sure it wasn't Burton himself - this person appeared to be a professional dancer (pointed toes, etc.)

It IS quite jarring when we switch from the brooding Henry/Burton to a long shot of this "light on his toes" guy cutting a rug with such delicacy!

Awight we're The Daamned we're a punk baand and this is called Carn't Be Appy T'day!

I agree but I thought the contrast of the two, Burton and his dancer/stand-in, was quite funny.

Really weird sh-t going down over there. Guess they couldn´t think of anything better to do back then than hop around like a bunch of dumbasses. Bizarre.

400 years from now I bet anything that today's dance styles, hairstyles, clothing, etc will seem ridiculous to people. They probably will make the exact same comment you did.

I'm no expert on Tudor dance styles, but I thought the dancing scenes rocked. It was like the king had his own disco and could have any thing played, any time he liked, with every one joining in, whether they wanted to or not.
