Does the human cast ever age?

Just saw them in the Macy's parade and, except for maybe Bob, they still appear the same as they did 20-25 years ago!

reply

Is it a problem if they don't?

reply

Not really.

reply

Bob is the oldest cast member. He is 79.

I know this post is 2 years old but I came here to ask how the hell has Gordon not aged. I'm 28, and was flipping through the channel when I stopped on SS for old times shake to see what it was like when I saw Gordon and I was like wth! He looks exactly the same, like Sesame Street must lead to the fountain of youth, lol.

I guess so! I haven't watched it in forever, but now I want to tune in to see what they look like.

Not sure if they still have same actor playing Gordon that I grew up w/ but if it is then true there is a fountain of youth because Sonia (actress who plays Maria) still looks good for whatever age she is.

After seeing some of the adults reminds me of my thoughts on soap operas ~ how those actors (minus the ones who get face lifts) still look good after being on the shows for over 20 + years.

If you're referring to Roscoe Orman, he's still there.

How come you're even wondering?

reply

Unless its Gordon's son it's the original Gordon. And he doesn't look like he has aged a day since I've watched as a kid and I'm 28.

It's funny you said soap operas, when I was a teen I use to watch Day's of Our Lives, and it seems when I tune in every now and then they actors seem to look the same, lol.

Ironically I looked up the actor who plays Gordon (same 1 I grew up with) and far as my soap opera comment was based on my old show Day's (Hope Brady, etc).
