Old Clip...Need help.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this! I'm looking for a clip which I believe was from Sesame Street, although I've yet to discover it anyplace online after years of searching (although I don't have a lot to help with my search).

I vaguely remember this is from when I was a kid so it had to have come from the 70's or early 80's.

It was a live action clip...about AUTUMN (I think)...with song and lyrics. It is not the "Sesame Street Autumn" clip I currently see on youtube, however.

That said, I'm hoping SOMEONE might remember. Unfortunately, the only words to the song I can remember are "football and fumbles, school days and tumbles..."...and seeing a boy fumbling a football...

Forgive me for not giving you a whole lot to work with here, but I'm hoping that SOMEONE is maybe aware of what I'm talking about...please help! I don't think I'm just making this up.

Windy Whistling Town.

Funny thing the guy singing sounded like Bobby Goldsboro who was a famous pop singer in the 60's and ealy 70's.

That does sound right. I recall those words. Unfortunately, I'm not having any luck locating it using that as a search.

Anybody able to point me in the right direction? Possible link?
