There is a pink Muppet called "Abby Cadabby." I don't know if this is what you are referring to.

shareShe's a fairy. And what is more, she's given her own 15 minute cgi animated segment during each episode these days--in addition to the time she spends as a muppet in the 'street' segments. Her and Elmo do all of the heavy lifting these days.
Some may say they are overused (I would be among them), yet they are popular with the wee ones.
